Joan C. Dean, 91, of Tulsa, passed away peacefully Sunday morning after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Vivian C. Wallace, brothers George Jr. and Robert M. Wallace, and her husband, Robert B. Dean.
Joan attended the University of Tulsa and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and where she met her husband, Robert. She enjoyed a successful career as a Realtor for Carriage Company Realtors and Merrill-Lynch Realty and was a member of a satellite church affiliated with the Berachah Church in Houston, Texas.
Joan is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Maribeth Dean; daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Bruce Carper; two sisters, DeDe Seale and Marcia Hendricks; grandchildren Lauren and her husband Robert Wood and Gregory and his wife Melissa Dean as well as three great grandchildren, Ellie Wood, Benjamin Wood and Morgan Dean.
