Joan Roots Harding was born in London, England, where she grew up and attended school.

After she married, Joan moved to Germany where she lived for 12 months before moving to Cambridge, England, where her son, Paul was born. After residing in Cambridge for 18 months, she came to the USA and lived in Big Springs, TX where her daughter, Lynne was born.

Joan then moved across the ocean again and lived in Germany for one year before returning to England. After living in England for three years she then came to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she has resided ever since.

After Paul and Lynne were grown and married, Joan thought very seriously about returning to London, England, permanently but with her two children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved so much, living in the USA, it was impossible to leave them and live so far away. Fortunately, she was able to visit London, where her heart was, every year.

Preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew Kenneth Harding.
Survived by son, Paul Harding; daughter, Lynne McLaughlin and husband Lonnie; grandchildren, Laura Nichols and husband Adam, Alex Harding, Nick Harding and wife Shelbie, Sydney Fleetwood; and four great-grandchildren that she adored.
