Burton, JoAnna Ladd 75 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on November 1, 2014 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Joanna was born on April 20, 1939 in Cooter, Missouri. JoAnna was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethel Ladd and her sister, Shirley German. A viewing will be held at Moore's Funeral Home at Southlawn Chapel with family receiving at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. The funeral will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 with the burial immediately following.
JoAnna married Bobby on June 3, 1956. They shared 58 wonderful years and were dedicated to each other. JoAnna was a very kind, proper and giving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved flowers, reading books and a beautiful home. She loved basketball, softball, football and the St. Louis Cardinals. She enjoyed watching her teams with her husband. Her greatest joys were her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
JoAnna is survived by her loving husband, Bobby H. Burton; her brother, Gene Ladd and his wife, Iris; three children Debbie Burton Lank; Timothy H. and wife, Pamela Burton; Nicole J. and husband, Brian Miller; her six grandchildren, LeAnna Lank, Tanner and wife, Laura Lank; Taranne and husband, Lewis Deci; Ashlee Burton and fianc�e Matthew Schuessler ; Britney and husband Jordan Park; and Jacob Miller and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Cade, Victoria, Saydie, Alexandra, and Zoey.
JoAnna loved trips to Disney World, Yellowstone, Colorado and Branson with her family. She loved her trip to Europe with her husband and delighted in their travels. She enjoyed her New Year's Eve trips to many islands with her husband and their friends. JoAnna lived a full life loving others and being loved. The family would like to say a special thanks to her caregiver, Diana Dickinson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, both at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St.; Tulsa, Ok. 74145
