Joann Marie Ryals, 80, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a long illness. Joann was born October 3, 1935 in Shamrock, Texas to William "Buck" Jones and Josephine Brown. She will join her late husband and love of her life, Wayne Ryals (1926-1992). They were married in 1954. She spent her life as a caring and loving homemaker to her family. They lived for many years in Claremore, OK. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, living on a farm, and mostly being with her husband and family.

She is survived by her children, Brian Ryals of Fort Worth, Texas; Michael Wayne Ryals of Broken Arrow, OK; Joyce Shaw, Edmond, OK; and Jayne McDaniel of Claremore, OK and her siblings, Edward Jones, Enid, OK; Carol Hammontree, Greenville, SC; Michael Brown, Greenville, SC; Robert Brown, Tonapah, NV; and Gary Jones, Missouri. She has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved deeply.

Funeral service will be at 2 P.M., Friday, August 12, 2016 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
