Joe Lindsey Beson was born July 12th, 1951 to Clyde William Beson and Mary Virginia, in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was the last of five children. Joe graduated from Claremore High School in 1969.

He attended Oklahoma Military Academy and transferred to Oklahoma University where he received a degree in Structural Engineering. He married the love of his life, Debbie Apple, in November of 1973. After Joe's graduation they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had two children, Jay Lindsey Beson and Casey Wayne Beson.

Joe went to work for WR Holloway as a Structural Engineer.

Joe is preceded in death by his mother, Mary, his father, Bill, his brother John, his wife Debbie, his brothers-in-law, Larry Cox, and Tommy Apple.

He is survived by son Jay Beson and grandson Cody of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Casey Beson and wife Misty and granddaughter Chloe of Jacksonville, Florida. Two brothers Billy Beson, wife Sheri of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jim Beson, wife Maura of Murry, Utah; sister Betty Cox of Wagoner, Oklahoma; mother-in-law, Patricia Jones, husband Larry of Tulsa, Oklahoma; father-in-law George Apple and wife, Lynda of Claremore, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Janie Medlock, husband Jim of Catoosa, Oklahoma.

His hobbies were bowling, golf, watching OU, and posting on Facebook. He also liked having a few beers and sitting in the creek. Joe loved keeping up with the class of 1969. Each one had a special place in his life.

Joe's greatest love was his wife, Debbie, his children Jay and Casey, and his grandchildren Cody and Chloe.

Visitation will be 5-7 P.M., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
