Joe Donald "Donnie" Walker, was born in Haskell, Oklahoma on September 8, 1940 to Lawrence and Josephine Walker. First born son of seven boys, Joe, Lawrence, Lanny, Leonard, Chris, Raymond and Verdell Walker.

Preceding him in death both parents, Lawrence and Josephine Walker, as well as 4 brothers Raymond, Chris, Lanny, and Lawrence.

Joe attended and finished school in Haskell, OK, and later began his own construction company, Walker Brothers Construction Co., with his brothers Lawrence and Raymond Walker. He later started working at the shipping yard, and then went on to become a construction worker, where he worked until he was disabled.

Joe met and married Bobby, and to this union Debra and James were born.
His wife Bobby preceded him in death on June 20, 1989. Later he met and married Mary in 1967. To this union 3 daughters were born, Lisa, Maria, and LaToya. His wife Mary preceded him in death on January 3, 2003.

He leaves to cherish his memories, four daughters: Debra of Tulsa, Ok, Lisa, Maria and LaToya all of San Bernardino, CA; his only son: James of Tulsa, OK; two brothers: Leonard Walker and his wife Rose of Muskogee OK and Verdell Walker and his wife Reba of Tulsa, OK; five grandchildren: one, Clyde, who preceded him in death, John McShan of Tulsa, OK, Jermaine Walker of Tulsa, OK, Janada Walker of Los Angeles, CA, and Tamara Moore of San Bernardino, CA; eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends, all who will dearly miss him, but forever cherish great memories.

Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 13 at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, OK.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 16 at Moore's Memory Chapel.
