John Michael Argabright: A Life of Devotion and Service

John Michael Argabright, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on January 23, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on May 3, 1949, in Leon, Iowa, John-known affectionately as Mike-led a life marked by devotion, service, and love.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sara Argabright. His legacy lives on through his beloved family: his wife of 57 years, Marilyn Argabright; his sister and brother in-law, Jodi & Michael Mefford; his brother, Greg and his fiance Mai Coleman; his son John and his wife Pantharee; his son Chris and his wife Heather; his cherished grandchildren, John Tyler, Luke, Emily, Sara, and Caitlin; his nieces Taylor and Everly; his adopted daughter Sonya, her daughter Jade and her grandson Drake.

A devout Christian, Mike's life was a testament to his faith and values. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, no matter the task's size or scope. His 57 years as a mechanical contractor were marked not only by professional dedication but also by the deep relationships he formed with those he served.

Mike's greatest joy was found in the simple pleasures of life-supporting Marilyn's extensive and ever-changing hobbies and watching his grandchildren grow and flourish. His presence was a source of strength and joy to his family and all who knew him.

We invite friends and loved ones to join us in celebrating Mike's life. A memorial service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 5111 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Friday, February 2nd, at 2 pm. This will be followed by a graveside service at 3 pm, where we will bid our final farewell to a man who touched so many lives with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
