CARTER, John Thomas, 66, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday
evening, July 12, 2014, at his home in Tulsa, OK. Born February 17, 1948 in
Ridgway, Illinois to Arthur Wesley and Gladys Neoma (Collins) Carter.
John retired from Penhall Company where he worked in construction,
primarily doing demolitions.
John was a faithful member of Restoration Church of God of Prophecy,
where he was very active in the service of his Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda of the home. Daughter Tamara
Cooper (Nathan), granddaughter Jazmin Carter of Tulsa, OK. Brothers,
Ralph Carter (Barbara) of Smithboro, IL; Doug Carter of Ramsey, IL:
and Nicodemus Carter, IL.
A celebration of John's life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday,
July 16, 2014 at Restoration Church of God of Prophecy, 8120 Old North Rd.,
Sand Springs, OK 74063.
