Obituary

On August 16th, 1965, John Jeffrey Cullison was born into this world in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After 55 full years of life, love and laughter Jeff passed away, much too soon. Although his body could not go on, his legacy lives on through his most cherished accomplishment, his Boys. Alex and Tyler were always Jeff's favorite subject to talk about and the center of all his most beloved memories. No father could have been prouder of his sons.

Jeff enjoyed life to the fullest. Most often he could be found on the golf course cussing and complaining about an almost perfect shot or at the casino running on a streak of good luck. Out of his favorite places, his true passion was food, and he could always be found in the kitchen or next to the grill with a room full of loud music blaring and even louder family and friends.

Along with time with the boys, Jeff also enjoyed time with his best friend, partner-in-crime and self-proclaimed brother, Jeff Schumann. Anyone who knows them knows they were the Modern Day Flintstones, Fred and Barney forever.

Jeff also enjoyed spending his time socializing with friends, attending concerts, and sharing in foodie type experiences with Jamie Brown, his wonderful girlfriend of many years.

While Jeff and Diana divorced after years of marriage, they remained great friends and partners in parenting "The Boys". They always found a way to support each other, love their sons, and provide the BEST environment for Alex and Tyler.

Jeff also loved his Aunt, Deborah Heck and her family. Although Debbie is Jeff's aunt their relationship is closer to that of a brother and sister. They played pranks on each other, argued at times but always loved each other unconditionally.

Jeff had many friends and made an impression on everyone who knew him. Although he will be missed by many, he will always be with us. By now, Jeff has checked in at Heaven's gate, greeted by his brother Brian with a hug and a high five on his way to the first tee box to meet his Dad, Harold "Sonny" Cullison to play on the grandest golf course of all. No doubt, Linda, his mother, is there driving a cart with a Bloody Mary waiting for him.

Just like in life, Jeff would want to help others after he is gone. Please in lieu of flowers send donations in Jeff's name to:
