LYONS, John Joshua, 34, of Owasso, OK, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018. He was born December 7, 1983 at the Claremore Indian Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Heather; son, Corgan; daughters, Madi and Ashley; proud parents, Steve and Melinda Lyons; grandmother, Louise Lyons; sister, Keri and brother, Dylan, nephews, Hawk and Zion.
John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leon and Bernice Horton; and paternal grandfather, Clarence Lyons.
John Lyons, a talented musician, released three albums with his band, Ziff, before retiring to care for his wife and family full time; however in 2013 at the urging of many, released the album, Young Lyons Crash Course, which sold nationally.
John suffered from diabetes since his youth which also took his grandmother, Bernice and her mother, Margie Grimes.
John was a gentle, loving husband and father with a close bond with his son, Corgan. He will be remembered by his family and his many friends and fans.
