John Morley, age 90, passed on to the Lord's providence on Monday October 15, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born to parents H.T. and Fannybell Morley in Abilene, TX on October 17, 1927, he and his family soon moved to Tulsa, Ok, his lifetime home. John was a 1945 graduate of Tulsa Central High School. He went on to graduate from Yale University in 1949. Shortly after graduation he married the love of his life, Julia Moore. John and Julia started a family while John pursued and received his law degree from the University of Tulsa. John was a loving and supportive father to all four of his children; Blake, Anne, Peter and Sarah. Morley enjoyed a career that included private law practice, banking trust officer and financial investment advisor.

Throughout his life Morley cultivated many personal talents. He was a frequent golf and tennis enthusiast, a capable pianist and developed into an admired painter in his later years. He and Julia were lifelong members of St. John's Episcopal Church. His faith was of utmost importance to him.

Most who knew him will recall a kind and affable nature which nurtured countless lifetime friendships. His family will cherish memories of a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. One of the most beautiful footprints John left on the hearts of those who met was the incredible love he shared with his smart and charming wife Julia. Their marriage spanned over 7 decades.

His brother, Tom Morley, his beloved son, Peter Morley and his son in law Clark Millspaugh, precedes John in death. Julia Morley, Blake and Laurie Morley, Anne Millspaugh, Sarah and Kelly Mckoy, Mary and John Leake, Joe and Paige Millspaugh, Katie and Tom Hutto, Julie and Dusty Beard, Meg and Shaun Grewal, Libby Morley, Margo McKoy and John McKoy survive John. John also leaves behind a legacy of 21 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please send donations in memory of John Morley to The Oklahoma Alzeheimer's Chapter.
