John M. Patton, 71, Broken Arrow, OK resident went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
He was born March 1, 1949 in N. Hornell, NY to the late Dale E. and Florence P. (Thompson) Patton of Almond, NY. John graduated Salutatorian Alfred-Almond Central School and then graduated cum laude from State University of NY at Albany with a Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves as Private First Class for six years. John worked for the IRS in Albany, NY, Earnst & Earnst as Auditor in Syracuse, NY, The Evening Tribune as Comptroller in Hornell, NY, The Scotman Press Pennysaver as Comptroller in Syracuse, NY, Raymours & Flannigan Furniture as Comptroller/CFO in Liverpool, NY, Owned John M. Patton Accounting & Tax Service in Pennellville, NY, New York State Insurance Fund Lead Auditor in Liverpool/Endicott, NY, Retiring in Broken Arrow, OK. John served as Missions Director, which was his heart, and as a Board Member at Grace Assembly of God in Syracuse, NY for many years. He was an Adult Sunday School Teacher at Christian Chapel in Tulsa, OK.
John enjoyed writing Christian Daily Devotions, listening to Christian Gospel/Hymns music, cooking & baking, gardening, and watching sports TV.
He is survived by his loving wife: Debbie (Williams), four daughters: Karrissa (Michael) Waters, of Tulsa, OK, Julie (Jonathan) Cartledge, of Tulsa, OK, Karen Laurens, of Broken Arrow, OK, and Diane (Quentin) Pridemore Panama City Beach, FL, his Brothers Marvin of Milton, FL, David of Phoenix, AZ, and Stephen (Sharon) Patton of Granbury, TX, Sister; Ruth Westbrook of Hornell, NY, Nine beautiful grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his brothers LaVerne Patton Sr. and Kenneth Patton.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Friday, March 5, 2021 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Carbondale Assembly of God Church, 2135 W 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Graveside will be 12:00 P.M., Monday, March 8, 2021 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Road, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
