John Edward Paul, 76, was born April 3, 1945 to Artis L. Paul and Erthel Leah Brown. From childhood till adulthood, he was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

John attended Dunbar Elementary School and Carver Middle School. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1963. After high school, John was drafted into the U.S. Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged after three years.

John Paul worked at State Federal Saving and Loans and American Airlines Human Resources department from which he retired.

John was preceded in death by his parents, brother, George Stewart, Aunt, Mary Leon Watson, and wife of 47 years, Margaret Pogue Paul. He is survived by his daughter, Kristal Paul Lynn (Sammie), sister-in-law, Martha Pogue Broom (Bishop Lee Vicker), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, OK 74120.
