John Zima, Jr., 79, Tulsa resident, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024. He was born January 6, 1945, to John Joseph Zima, Sr. and Marian Zima. John served in the United States Army. He worked at the Tulsa County Health Department in the environmental division. He is preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Marilyn Zima of the home, step-daughters, Joyce Hesskamp, spouse Jay of Lake St. Louis, MO and Cindy Washington, spouse Dennis of Stillwater, OK. step-son, Mike Longwill, spouse Stacey of Tigard, OR, brother, Peter Zima, spouse, Jackie of MA, sister, Chris Zigment, spouse, Len of CO, several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. John was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Sierra Club, past member of Amateur Softball Association, and played for Tulsa County Health Department Softball Team. He enjoyed the 55 plus meal at the church, fishing, watching sports on television, and giving fresh flowers to Marilyn.
