Johnnie Alene Hovorka, 84, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Johnnie was born February 18, 1939, to Carl and Jossie Luper in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Charles Hovorka, October 14, 1964, in Claremore, OK.

Johnnie worked for Tulsa Public Schools as a cook in the cafeteria for years. Her favorite job was being a mom and grandma. She was a homemaker for years and took pride in her home.

Her beloved Bella will have her final resting place with her Momma who lived for her! They will be together.

Her favorite place to be is the ocean.

Johnnie is survived by daughter, Pastor Sheri Martin and husband Pastor Ernie Martin, Tulsa, OK, son, Jerry Oliphant and daughter-in-law Kathy Fix, Tulsa, OK, son Charles Hovorka, Skiatook, OK, 6 grandchildren (1 deceased), 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Member of Lewis Avenue International Missions.

Visitation, 6pm-8pm, Wednesday, February 7, 2024 and the funeral service, 10am, February 8, 2024 at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home.
