Johnnie Roley
Devoted husband, father, papa, brother and son



Johnnie Roley, 68 years of age passed on Tuesday, April 14th 2020 at Hillcrest hospital. He was laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery on April 17th 2020.

Johnnie was born on January 6, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He married Sharon (Cox) Roley on October 15th 1974 in Neosho, Missouri. They have two children, Matthew and Jacob Roley. They also had many four-legged fur babies they raised and loved through the years.

Johnnie worked for Sun Oil Refinery before retiring and moving to the lake. Johnnie loved being with his family. He adored his wife and the love they shared was undeniable. He was proud of his boys and enjoyed teaching/coaching them baseball, working on their cars, hunting and noodling, and cookouts at the cabin. His grandchildren brought him so much joy. He especially liked teaching Jackson how to do man things. While Johnnie lived simply, he loved generously and cared deeply. His generosity was never-ending and was received by family, friends and those he didn't even know but felt the call to help. He truly had a servant's heart and he will be greatly missed.

Johnnie is preceded in death by his father Irven W Roley; his mother Florence M (Rose) Roley; and brother Jackie R Roley.

Johnnie is survived by his wife Sharon Roley; son Matthew Roley; son Jacob Roley; sister Deborah Brooks and husband Darence; sister Barbara Stephens and husband Robert; sister Sandra Porter; grandchildren Hannah Roley, Olivia Roley, Jackson Roley and Ashlee Scott.

John's prayers have been answered and God understood
He took him to heaven as soon as he could
He hated to leave us, we're all feeling bad

In heaven with Jesus, God completed his plan
