Johnny Ray Ellison passed from this life on September 8, 2021. He was born August 16, 1955. Johnny graduated from Will Rogers High school in 1973. His hobbies included collecting classic Fords, Harleys, and various cool antique cool stuff. Johnny designed & built the family home in Tulsa, including all the custom woodwork. Johnny has built several Harleys. Johnny operated his own business, Mohawk Classic out of his shop. He enjoyed his yearly vacation to Davenport, Iowa where he attended a big swap meet with his close friends.
Johnny was a heavy equipment operator primarily dozer with Sherwood Construction Company from 2007 until he retired 1st of May, 2021. In his early years Johnny worked with his father Kenneth at Ellison Excavating company.
Johnny is survived by his wife Rebecca (Becky) Ellison, two children Christina and Dustin Ellison, five grandchildren Ariel Ellison-Boren, Valerie Silver, Caleb Bradshaw, Emma Ellison, and Alyssa Sanstra along with 8 great grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Ellison and Dovie (McMullen) Ellison of Lamar, Oklahoma.
Johnny lived a full life of caring, giving, and sacrifice for his family.
A celebration of life will be on September 14, 2021 at 10:00 am with Pastor Kent House officiating in the Southlawn Chapel at 9350 East 51st Tulsa, Oklahoma.
