Jon Richard "Blodgett" Boerstler, 25, of Tulsa, lost his battle for life on Monday, July 14, 2014 as he has battled a genetic lung disease Cystic Fibrosis just a day before his 26th birthday. His birth and death were both at St. John Hospital. He was born July 15, 1989 , between both of his Grandfathers' birthdays, son of April Louise and John Richard Boerstler. Jon fought daily to have a normal life. He was a man of God and loved making people laugh. He loved his job as an auto mechanic and helping others. He could always make you smile with goofy antics and facial expressions. He taught himself to play the guitar and loved to sing and play at church. He was very opinionated and outgoing, a to the point kind of guy. Jon leaves his parents, sisters, Constance and Brandi Blodgett, brothers, Beau John Runningdeer Boerstler and Mark Towler of CA, uncle Darrell Boesrtler, his wife Connie of Owasso, aunts Cynthia A. Harrington of Winchendon, MA and Deborah J. Campbell of Gardner, MA, several great aunts and uncles and cousins. Services 1:00 PM Friday, July 18, 2014, Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, interment Park Grove Cemetery, Broken Arrow, OK. Following the services a dinner will be held 4 PM, Calvary Temple on South Maybelle, hosted by Pastor Mary Roop.
