In Loving Memory, Jose Ricardo Gonzales Jr., passed away unexpectantly on Monday, January 5, 2015.
Jose also known as "Ricky" to family and school friends was loved by all who met him. With his quick humor and lively personality, he brought laughter to all who were present. He loved to go fishing, watch movies, and most of, all his family with whom he spent many hours enjoying eating and "watching movies". He also loved to barbeque for his family, and did so on many occasion while posting pictures online of all the platters of delicious foods he had cooked and was about to enjoy. Another one of his recent favorite past times was on line-gaming with his cousin, Alex Young.
Jose was born in Saginaw, Michigan on September 4, 1983 to Jose Ricardo and Elena Gonzales. In 1987, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with his mother and older sibling, Angelo R. Gonzales, and grandparents, Alex and Seferina Gonzalez. He attended Grace Fellowship Christian School in 1990 from grades 1st through 8th, then Union High School. Having received his Diploma in October, 2000, from Unique Acres Boys Ranch, Texas, he later attended ITT Institute of Tulsa thereupon receiving his Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science in May, 2009. Jose was working for Hewlet Packard, at the time of his death, contracting. He is survived by his father, Jose R. Gonzales, grandmother, Beatrice Gonzales, both of Michigan, his mother, Elena April, step-father, David April,
his older brother, Angelo R. Gonzales, uncle Louis Gonzalez, aunt Sandra Jalili, all of Broken Arrow, and many other family members living in and out of state.
The family wishes to extend an invitation to attendees for refreshments and food immediately following the service on Saturday, January 10, to be held on property of Memorial Park Family Center.
