Joseph David Charlick, 65, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on July 18, 2024.
Born on September 14, 1958, Joe was the son of David and Micky Charlick. He married Nancy Kate Barnett on May 24, 1986, in Chanute, Kansas. Nancy survives him, along with their two daughters, Kara Nicole Charlick (partner Candice Miley), of Denver and Krista Michelle Charlick (partner Damion Hooks), of Broken Arrow. Joe shared a special bond with his only grandson, Emerson Daxx Charlick, also of Broken Arrow, and was deeply loved by close family friend, Rhonda Winchester.
Joe is also survived by his father, David Charlick, of Paris, Missouri; his siblings, Glendia Ayers (Rick) of Marshfield, Missouri, Gail Million (Alan) of Paris, Missouri, and Jim Charlick of Paris, Missouri; and nine nieces and nephews: Chanda, Justin, Shayla, Joel, Jason, Sheena, Emily, Alexis, and Eva. Additionally, he is survived by 20 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Micky Charlick; his grandparents, Paul and Margaret Charlick; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Bonnie Barnett and Bonita Criswell.
Joe graduated from the University of Missouri in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and worked at Kaiser Francis Oil Company for 41 years, retiring as the supervisor of accounting in June 2024.
Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and entertaining friends. He and his family visited 37 countries, creating cherished memories. Joe loved cooking and hosting swim parties, often swimming daily with his grandson, Emerson.
Joe's unwavering and unconditional love for his family and friends will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23 from 5:30-7:30pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at 11:30am, at Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St, Tulsa, OK.
