Obituary

Joe P. Harding, age 73 years, 10 months and 17 days, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2005 in Tulsa, OK. Joe was born September 15, 1931 in Neosho, MO to James and Maude Harding. He was a retired mechanics for the City of Tulsa. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and anything to do with the outdoors. Mr. Harding is survived by his wife of 50 years, Naomi; daughters: Cynde Weir of Turley, OK, Tami and her husband Ken Davis of Keller, TX, Trace and her husband Rob Toole of Tulsa, Heather and her husband Josh Bennett of Owasso, OK; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters: Fannie Griffith and Effie Calllahan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Virgil and James Harding and sisters Dorothy Huffman and Etta Peabody. Funeral Service held 2PM August 5 at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel in Tulsa, with interment held 2PM Saturday, August 6 at New Salem Cemetery in Neosho, MO. Joe P. Harding, 73 of Tulsa OK passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2005. He was born September 15, 1931 in Neosho, MO, to James and Maude Harding. He is a retired mechanic for the City of Tulsa, he loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and anything to do with the outdoors.

He is survived by wife, Naomi of 50 years, daughters Cynde Weir of Turley, OK, Tami and husband Ken Davis of Keller, TX, Tracy and her husband Rob Toole of Tulsa, Heather and her husband Josh Bennett of Owasso, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Fannie Griffith and Effie Callahan and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers Virgil and James Harding and sisters Dorothy Huffman and Etta Peabody.

Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, interment was Saturday at 2 p.m. in New Salem Cemetery, Neosho, MO. Services were handled by Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.
