Obituary

Joseph Philip Huser was born in Tulsa, Okla., on December 5, 1988, at 4:50 p.m., 20 days early. He weighed 8 lbs., 6 oz., and had a full head of dark brown hair. He lived 30 years, 6 months, and 20 days before passing from our lives on Saturday, May 25, 2019. He is the youngest son of Bernard and Marilyn Huser, and the brother of William Dennis and Michael Dennis.

Joe was a "lifer" at Broken Arrow Public Schools, attending from kindergarten through 12th grade. As a member of the Boy Scouts of America he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was inducted into Order of the Arrow. Growing up, he enjoyed playing recreational basketball, baseball and football. In high school he was a member of the varsity football team.

Joe graduated from Broken Arrow Senior High School in 2006 and was accepted to Oklahoma State University's College of Engineering. He graduated with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering technology in the spring of 2012. After graduation, he went to work for Allied Motion in Tulsa as a CAD design engineer. He recently accepted a position as a quality engineer with the company.

Always ready for any type of game, Joe played in softball, sand volleyball and bowling leagues in the Tulsa area. He was also a serious gamer, enjoying Dungeons and Dragons and War Hammer. In 2014 he built a home in Bentley Village in Broken Arrow, and became president of the home owners' association.

Joe was preceded in death by his older brother, Michael Dennis; his grandparents Fred and Evelyn Huser and George and Joye Babcock; and his aunt Paula Huser. He is survived by his parents, Bernard and Marilyn Huser of Broken Arrow; his older brother William Dennis of Tulsa; his girlfriend Cheyenne Gipson of Broken Arrow; aunts and uncles Fred and Rhonda
Huser of Ft. Collins, Colo., Bill and Marie Wasinger of Hays, Kan., Jim and Barbara Spaccamonti of Pueblo, Colo., and Robert and Mahala Baxter of Broken Arrow; and many cousins and good friends.

His funeral is scheduled for Friday, May 31, at 2 p.m. at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel 918-663-2233
