Obituary

Joseph Michael Marrs, 43, passed away on November 6th, 2023 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He was born December 27, 1979 to Mary Almeta Revill in Wagoner, OK.

Joe graduated from Wagoner High School in the class of 1999. He served in the US Army from 2005 to 2010 as an AH-64 Attack Helicopter mechanic, stationed in Fort Hood, TX and Korea. He served two tours Iraq, earning the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal and many others. He went on to earn his Associates in Applied Sciences from Spartan College of Aeronautics.

Joe had a passion for anything Sci-Fi, video games, and creating his own music. He loved sharing his passions with others around him. He also enjoyed building models, especially of the Starship Enterprise.

Joe is survived by his son, Haydn Higginbotham; mother, Mary Revill; sister, Anita Wooloff; brother, Wesley Lancaster; many neices and nephews and a countless number of friends. All of whom were touched by his endless supply of love, humor and joy he took in being around all of us.

Services to honor Joe will be held November 21st, 2023, at 11:30 am at the United Pentecostal Church, 126 W. Franklin, Haskell, Ok. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK to honor the service he was so proud of.
