Joseph Tugbeh Sepla was born April 24, 1953 in Sasstown, Sinoe County Liberia. Died October 10th, 2019 at OSU Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A 1975 graduate of Booker T. Washington Agricultural and Industrial Institute. Joe worked tirelessly as National Police Office assigned to the Kakata detachment. An electronics technician by trade, Joe later accepted a job with Air Liberia and was awarded a fellowship to study avionics in the State of Israel. He eventually immigrated to the U.S. in 1984 to begin a new chapter in his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Pamela H. Sepla, his children; Munah Sweettaste Doe, Miatta Ellis, Hiji Sepla, Orlando D. Sepla, step-son; Jose Harrison, six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, two daughter-in-laws, two son-in-laws, sisters; Regina Boy Gastin, Margaret Weah, Beatrice Solo and Lucy Cooper; brother and personal friend of family, Emmanuel Baxter.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you, Joseph throughout eternity.
Visitation will be 6PM - 8PM, Friday, October 25, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be 9AM, Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
