Joy Ellen Serviss Holliday, 57, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025. Born on November 3, 1967, in Pueblo, Colorado, Joy was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher who lived her life with faith, grace, and a deep love for others.

She was the daughter of the late Russell Reed Serviss of Pueblo, Colorado, and Jeanette Bayha Serviss of Rocky Ford, Colorado, both of whom preceded her in death.

Joy is survived by her loving husband, Brad Holliday of Claremore, and her son, Caleb Johnston of San Diego, California. She is also survived by her stepson, Luke Holliday, and grandsons, Luca and Milo, of Ozark, Missouri. She leaves behind her sister, Melody (Mike) Laney of Broken Arrow, and her brother, Mark (Julie) Serviss of Centralia, Missouri.

She was a cherished aunt to many, including, April (Ted) and their children, Ted, Jacob and Clark, of Seminole, Oklahoma, Stacy (Gary) and their children, Lilly, Eli and Laney Shreve, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Matthew (Melania) Serviss of Joshua, Texas, and Justin Serviss of Central Point, Oregon.

Joy's life was rooted in her faith. She loved Jesus deeply and strived to reflect His love in all she did. She was devoted to her family and treasured every moment spent with them.

A passionate and dedicated educator, Joy served as a third-grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary in Pryor, Oklahoma, where she touched the lives of countless students with her patience, warmth, and unwavering encouragement. In recognition of her exceptional dedication and impact, she was honored as Teacher of the Year for 2025, a testament to her love for teaching and her commitment to her students and school community.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, joyful spirit, and the lasting legacy she leaves in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

Viewing for Joy will be on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM with family present for visitation from 4:00 PM till 6:00 PM.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74145.

Interment will be at Washington Cemetery in Foyil, Oklahoma on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
