Joyce Anne Berry Chedester passed into Heaven on July 16th, 2024. She was born on January 19, 1940 in Alexandria, VA to the late Claude Cleveland and Leta Virginia (Miller) Berry. Joyce graduated from George Washington High School (Alexandria, VA) in 1958 and from the Virginia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing (Lynchburg, VA) in 1962. She was a Registered Nurse and actively worked for 40 years in six different states and became nationally certified in Infusion Therapy in 1987. Further education included Rhema Bible Training Center, Tulsa, OK (1978) and West Virginia Christian University (2016).

Joyce was married to the late Rev. David Lester Chedester for 53 years. Together they founded Faith Christian Fellowship, Morgantown, WV in 1979.

Joyce is survived by her son, David Berry Chedester and her daughter Elizabeth Anne Chedester both of Tulsa, OK, with whom she made her home, and by her sister Mary Catherine Berry Cale (Tom) of Wichita Falls, TX.

Following her wishes she will be cremated and her ashes taken to WV to be buried alongside her late husband. There will be a service at Faith Christian Fellowship (Morgantown, WV) with Pastor Jeff Anderson at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Faith Christian Fellowship Int'l, Tulsa, OK or Faith Christian Fellowship, Morgantown, WV.
