Juan Manuel Alday, born on June 24, 1968, left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of those who knew him. His gentle spirit and unwavering kindness created a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever be cherished.
His journey began in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, where he spent his beginning years before inheriting a father whose shoulders he sat on as the entire family crossed the Rio Grande River by foot into the United States in pursuit of new dreams. The family settled in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where his roots took hold, and eventually the family along with Juan came to Tulsa, Oklahoma. There, he graduated from Tulsa Edison High School and embarked on the lifelong adventure that would define him.
A man of remarkable skill and dedication, Juan Manuel left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His hard work, generosity, and loyalty to his family and friends were the foundation of his character.
His talents spanned far and wide-from blue collar work to the culinary arts, from the great outdoors to the canvas of his own creativity. His love for animals was immeasurable, and his love for his dogs Tigger and Gizmo was unmatched. Perhaps his greatest joy came from his family. He took immense pride in teaching his nieces and nephews, passing down knowledge and skills that will live on for generations.
Until his final moments, Juan Manuel remained close to the people he loved most. Though he is no longer with us, his wisdom, laughter, and love will never fade. His story lives on in the hearts of those who knew him-a legend in his own right, forever remembered.
