Juanita Ione Harris-Hoeffer

Juanita Ione Flesner was born March 8, 1921 in Stillwater, and passed from this life Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

She graduated from Stillwater High School and attended Oklahoma A&M College (OSU). She was mother to four sons, Edwin A. Moore, David G. Moore, Jack J. Harris, and Timothy L. Harris.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, but also managed a very successful career working with the Tulsa Parks and Recreation Dept. for over 27 years. She was an innovator who produced new programs that are still being used today for the community. As District Supervisor she loved working with people within the community. After her retirement, she began health fitness classes for seniors that she participated in well into her 90's.

Juanita was preceded in death by her three husbands, Gordon Moore, Jack J. Harris, and Melvin Hoeffer; and son, Edwin A. Moore. In addition to her three sons, Juanita leaves behind 12 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
