Parsons, Elsie Juanita, 98 of Tulsa passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was born April 5, 1919 in Broken Arrow, OK to James and Bessie Fletcher. Juanita proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and worked as an administrative assistant in civil service. She was a member of Disciples of Christ and enjoyed gardening and square dancing. Juanita is survived by her niece, Kathryn and her husband Bruce Burdette of Birmingham, AL; great nieces Cheryl and Joanna. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Thomas J. Parsons in 2011; her sisters, Gladys Wagner and Faye Fletcher; and her brother, Gerald Fletcher.
