Obituary

Judith Albert Kantor was born on June 23, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to E.R. Albert, Jr. and Mary McCarthy Albert. Judy peacefully passed away at the age of 79 on January 8th surrounded by her husband and family.

Judy's zest for life, class and style was contagious and she was a great friend to all. Judy attended Lee School, Holland Hall, and graduated from Central High School (class of 1955) before attending University of Colorado in Boulder. Judy was active in the Tulsa community and enjoyed volunteering and fund raising. She served on the Board of Philbrook Museum of Art, the Junior League of Tulsa, the Ruskin Art Club and served as Opera Ball Chair. In addition, she served on the Board of Directors for Albert Equipment. While the song of her life may have ended, the melody plays on.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Paul Kantor. Her son, Scott and daughter-in-law Roberta Haus and their four children; Jeff and Meghan Haus and their son Jacob; Greg and Libby Haus and their daughters Avery and Willa; Katy Haus and Brad Haus. Her daughter, Tori Boswell and her 3 children; Blake Boswell (wife Kayla); Courtney Boswell and Hailey Boswell. Her daughter, Marci Haus and her two daughters Megan Cook (son Tripp) and Leslie Cook. Her daughter, Ashley Brown (fiancee' William Lowe) sons Brooks and Drew Brown. Stepson, Joel and Karen Kantor and their daughter Rebekah Kantor. Stepdaughter, Judy and Barry Baruh and their son Aaron. Stepson, Kent and Lorie Kantor and their daughter Lexie. Stepson, Charles Kantor and his son David.

Judy was elegant, yet loving and down-to-earth. She had a quick wit, a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. Quite simply, the best friend anyone could ever have. Judy will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
