Judith M. Knipe was born in Creston, Iowa to Ulen Hayes and Elma May Culbertson on July 28, 1942 and died peacefully on September 22, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Raised on a farm near Clearfield, Iowa, she later moved to Des Moines, Iowa for work where she met and married Mike Knipe. Together they raised their son, Michael. In 1973, the family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where Judy lived out her vocation as wife and mother and also worked, retiring as a receptionist for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. She was a woman of deep faith and a faithful parishioner for many years at St Pius X Catholic Church and School. She was an avid reader and card player and loved travels in the USA and beyond including trips to the Holy Land, Rome, England, Spain, Canada and Australia and New Zealand.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Knipe, and one son, Fr Michael J. Knipe, JCD, both of Tulsa.
