Judith Ann "Judy" Young (nee Jett), 82, of Tulsa, OK passed away on April 22, 2024 in Tulsa, OK. She was a beautiful soul inside and out who cherished her family deeply.

Judith, known to her loved ones as "Judy", was a devoted mother and homemaker. She found joy in volunteering her time for the Tulsa Boys Home and the Children's Day Nursery. Beyond her altruistic endeavors, Judy was actively involved in her children's lives, serving as a cub scout leader, girl scout leader, Asbury youth leader, Director of the Byrd Junior High Pep Club, and Cheerleaders.

Born in Springfield, MO, Judy graduated from Tulsa Edison High School, Tulsa, OK. She was a long-time member of Asbury Church, where she found solace and community.

Judy had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies, including snow skiing, water skiing, scuba diving, and participating in the Bridge Club. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She is survived by her oldest daughter, Donna Higgins-Gardner, her son Michael Lawrence Young, her youngest daughter, Francey Young Muirhead, and her grandchildren: Haley Higgins, Hunter Higgins, Max Muirhead, MacKenzie Muirhead, Dallas Young, Jackson Young. Great grandchildren: Shayna Bourcier and Ezekiel Higgins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Jett, father Ralph E. Jett, husband, Larry Young and brothers, Ronnie Jett and Ralph G. Jett.

A memorial service will be held at the Asbury Church Chapel (with white steeple) at 6767 S. Mingo, Tulsa, OK 74133, on Saturday, April 11, at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
