June Katherine Kuhnemund Breedlove, 82 years of age, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on May 16, 2019 at Saint Francis Hospital. June was born in Fairview, Oklahoma to Vione Paulette and Ernest Fred Kuhnemund. She was preceded in death by husband, D.G. Jack Breedlove. They were blessed with laughter and love for almost 55 years. She is survived by their children, Greg and Julie Breedlove, Wayne and Stacy Shaffer, and Bret Breedlove. Gramma June, Memaw, or Mimi was dearly loved by her 9 grandchildren, Ashley Breedlove, Lindsey Sjoholm, Katy Alford, Cody Breedlove, Amy Shaffer, Riley Breedlove, Brady Breedlove, Katie Romano, and Makena Breedlove. She was also blessed with 8 great grandchildren, Olivia, Brantley, Kinley, Georgia-Grace, Henry, Lily June, Bowen, and Jack.
June graduated from the University of Tulsa, and became an elementary school teacher for Tulsa Public Schools. She was always busy with her children, grandchildren, or children in the community. She loved babies of all ages and enjoyed caring for them. June loved reading, crossword puzzles, collecting Hummel figurines, and made an amazing cinnamon roll.
Whenever she needed extra love and care, her children were a constant source of comfort for her. She was also blessed with kindhearted friends after her beloved husband passed away. June continued to laugh with those who cared for her most, finding humor in the everyday, and will be sorely missed.
