June E. Moore, 95, born on July 6, 1925 in Tulsa Oklahoma, completed her long earthly journey on July 10, 2020 in Bartlesville Oklahoma. As an infant, she was adopted by her biological aunt, Daisy Blaine and husband George Blaine, former Tulsa County Sheriff. Her childhood saw her living in Tulsa OK, Joplin MO, Moore OK before attending Will Rogers High School in Tulsa. June cut short her schooling to marry William H Moore Jr in 1943. Together, the young couple went to New York City during Bill's World War II military assignment.


Upon returning to Tulsa, they campaigned for her father's elections and started their family with Georgia born July 23, 1947 and Gloria born July 2, 1949. The family attended Faith, Sheridan, and Central Assembly of God churches. June maintained the household, her daughters graduated from Will Rogers High School and married, then June worked at Atlas Life Insurance. The two attended many TU football games over these years.


June and Bill began traveling the west and throughout Colorado. They built a home on Keystone Lake which they immediately expanded while experiencing the woods, wildlife, gardening, fishing and boating. The solitude provided them the setting to explore the Scriptures and Christian writings, and Bill shared many western paperback novels. They also began the enjoyment of their four grandsons with special weekly visits, usually one at a time.


Later they moved back to the Tulsa area where June cared for Georgia (2002) and Bill (2004) passing. Grandchildren then added great grandchildren, a great inspiration and giving June many more to love and cherish. June stayed in Tulsa and Broken Arrow visiting with family and church friends. In 2016, she moved to Bartlesville to be closer to caregivers, Gary and Linda Collins. Quickly, she became a loving spirit to new friends at her independent living home. June always followed her love for Christ and only two days before her passing, shared a last loving testimony and encouragement to family.


June is survived by her daughter Gloria Kallenberger and husband Paul of Skiatook, June's surviving grandsons are Matt Kallenberger of Edmond, Jeff Collins of Bartlesville, Greg Collins and wife Lindsey of Bixby, Tim Collins of Johnstown, Colorado and her seven 'great grandchildren', Madison, Zach, Noah, Josh, Gavin, Paige and Matt.


June earned and will be lovingly remembered by all as 'Ma'.

Visitation will be 5-7PM, Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Moore's Southlawn. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
