June Ellen (Cue) Shelton was born July 27, 1935 in Tulsa, OK at St. John's Hospital. She went to be with the Lord June 30, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Leona Cue, Husband Virgil Francis Shelton, Sister Sarah Louise Broach, Brother-in-law George Clayton Broach, Sister Rose Mary Claxton, Brother-in-law Kenneth Park Claxton and Nephew Bradford Mosby Broach. She is survived by Son Robert N. Shelton, Daughter-in-law Diane Shelton, Daughter Kerri A. Kelly, Son-in-law William (Wes) Kelly, Daughter Lori L. Hart, Son-in-law Thomas (Tom) Hart, Grandsons Eli Shelton, William Shelton, Sam Shelton, Gregory (Greg) Woodard and wife Kaylee Woodard, Granddaughter Sarah Christian and husband Colton Christian, Kathryn (Katie) Hannah and husband Matt and Great Grandchildren Wyatt Tucker Adkins, Alexander (Alec) Hannah, Kenslee Woodard, Keeley Woodard, Charles (Charlie) Woodard and Nephews Christopher (Kit) Broach wife Mary Broach, Brian Broach, Roger Broach, Kurt Claxton and Niece Kenneta Dyer and husband Ron Dyer along with many Great Nieces and Nephews.
June Ellen (Stubby) was a proud graduate of Central High School Class of '53 Braves. Her Parents owned Cue Grocery on West 3rd Street for many years. Stubby ran the cash register at an early age and after High School she worked at a bank for several years and then went to work at Mac's Electric Supply and her final career was Executive Secretary/Office Manager/Treasurer for G.C. Broach Company. While working for Broach she joined Executive Women International and served as Chapter President in 1984 and served other board positions and on committees. She married Virgil Shelton April 25, 1958 and was married 61 years before his passing. She loved playing bridge and any other games. She was very committed to the Lord and active in her church, First Church of God in Pryor, OK.
Viewing will be 10am-8pm and visitation 6pm-8pm on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 and the Memorial Service will be 11:30am, Monday, July 18, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home.
