Kamora Ann Sains of Tulsa passed from this life on May 8, 2020. She was born Kamora Ann Martin on August 13, 1947, in Stigler, Oklahoma to Elzie Martin and Geneva Hood. She was a 1965 graduate of Henryetta High School. After graduating from Hillcrest Nursing School in 1968, she was a Registered Nurse at Saint Francis Hospital and worked there almost 30 years. She was also a registered Psych Nurse. Johnny and Kamora were married November 26, 2005 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Kamora was known by all as a loving, caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She had a beautiful smile that would light up a room! She loved to sing whether it was in the choir at church, with her kids, or strangers. She loved to incorporate singing every chance she got. She enjoyed life to the fullest, whether at home, at work, or visiting kinfolks. In addition to bowling, her main enjoyment in life was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading her books, playing card games with those brave enough to challenge her, and driving her Mustang GT convertible.
Kamora was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother Randy. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Mike Sains of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and a daughter, Cheri' Hatfield (Michael) of Broken Arrow, and their three sons Adam, Andrew, and Alex; a son, Rique Lopez (Shelley) of Bristow, a sister, Janice Frye (Tommy) of Pocasset, and their three children Lantze, Montie, and Justin; step children Johnny Mike Sains Jr. (Stephanie) of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Tammy Merritt (Jason) of McKinney, Texas; step grandchildren Mika Wireman (Quentin) of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Tim Sains (Alexis) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Clay Sains, Laura Castillo, Megan and Abbey Merritt; and a step great granddaughter, Arianna Wireman.
Kamora will be missed by all of these kinfolks as well as a multitude of friends and co-workers at Saint Francis. She will remain in the hearts and memories of her children forever.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 6, 2020 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 301 South 9th Street, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
