Karen Sue Adams of Claremore, OK went home to be with Jesus on February 26, 2021 at the age of 74. Karen was born to Don and Francile Hamby on April 10, 1946 in Tulsa, OK.

She graduated from Berryhill High School in 1964. Later on she attended cosmetology classes and received her "hair license".

Karen married her late husband, Jim Suitor, in 1965. During their marriage they raised three children, Jerry, Jodi and Julie. Jim passed away in August, 1997.

On July 30th, 2005 Karen married James Adams. He was the man she would spend the rest of her life with. James brought two children, which Karen greeted Michael, Michelle, and their families with open arms.

In addition to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, over the years Karen enjoyed volunteering at her kid's schools, the Osteopathic Hospital Guild, bowling, going to stock car races and cheering on all her kids and grandkids at their numerous events over the years.

Karen was proceeded in death by her parents, Don and Francile Hamby; her brother Gary Hamby; daughter Jodi Downing; late husband Jim Suitor; two infant sons; mother in law Opal Suitor; brother and sister in laws Kenneth and Sandra Suitor, Ervin and Cora Gremard, Connie Adams and sister in law Gloretha Welch.

Karen is survived by her loving husband James. Her children: son Jerry Suitor and wife Taresa of Tulsa; daughter Julie Wilson of Claremore; son Michael Adams and wife Cynthia of Locust Grove; daughter Michelle Maupin and husband Michael of Claremore and son in law Ron Downing of Tulsa. Grandchildren: Whitney Suitor; Jason Suitor and wife Tara; Matthew Suitor; Taylor Suitor; Zachariah Downing; Courtney Downing; Heather Grubbs; Megan Baxter; Ryan Maupin and fiance Bri Leach; David Maupin and wife Alicia; Emily Maupin and fiance Jesse Barnes; and Hunter Adams. Great Grandchildren: Noah Suitor; Hudson Suitor; Hannah Lahmeyer; Blue Rivera; Jackson Richardson; Ensley Maupin; Oaklee Barnes; and Henry Barnes. She is also survived by her sister Donna Moore of Tulsa; sister in law Becky Hamby of Tulsa; and Mary Adams of Greensboro, NC, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends she has made throughout her life.

Exodus 23:20: "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared".
