Karen Boyd, beloved resident of Catoosa, Oklahoma, passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 72.
Karen was known for her kind heart and unwavering compassion for animals. She dedicated her life to loving her family and making a difference in the lives of all she loved and any animal in need. Her radiant smile and loyalty to those she loved were evident to all who knew her. She was born on February 13,1952 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma. She graduated from Tulsa Central Highschool in 1970 and went on to attend Bauder fashion College of Dallas and the University of Tulsa in Tulsa Oklahoma. She had a love for animals and art. She had a passion to draw the animals she loved so dearly and even had a photography business out of her home photographing other peoples pets for them to treasure.
She was preceded in death by her Father Lawrence Raymond Wagner, her Mother Clara Mae Wagner and her Great Granddaughter Trinity Jordan Hope Grannan. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Barry Wray Boyd of Catoosa Oklahoma, Her Brother Ronald Lawrence Wagner of Northern Virginia, Her brother & sister in law Barry & Beverly Bryant of Jenks Oklahoma, Her Step Children Stephen & Julie Patuto of Bixby Oklahoma, Her niece &nephews Michael Lawrence Wagner of Northern Virginia and Richard Charles Wagner of Tulsa Oklahoma, Barry Lee Bryant of Tulsa Oklahoma, Billy Bryant of Jenks Oklahoma, Shawn & Bryn Wisdom of Tulsa Oklahoma Her Grandchildren Jacob & Chelsea Grannan of Collinsville Oklahoma, Jonathan & Josabet Patuto of Bixby Oklahoma, Cody & Lauren Storer of Sapulpa Oklahoma, Braden Patuto of Bixby Oklahoma, Great grandchildren Isaiah, Jackson & Judah Grannan and Henry Storer.
Karen's legacy of love and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace in the arms of her loving savior the Lord Jesus.
