Karen Sue Christesson, 77, beloved mother and grandmother, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on October 19th, 2022.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Helen Edwards and Reeves Williams, Jr. She was the widow of Loyd J. Christesson, after 47 years of marriage, and is survived by her only daughter, Angela L. Green, son-in-law, Tom Green, and her grandchildren, Tori and Tegan Green. Karen is also survived by her two brothers, Larry Williams and David Williams (Booth), and her niece Adrienne Williams, and nephew Cody Williams.

Karen was retired for many years after managing her and Loyd's business, Christesson Reporting Service. Karen's passion was cooking and was considered an amateur gourmet cook. She also loved gardening and a shared passion of horse racing with Loyd.

Over the last four years, Karen endured progressive health issues as a result of dementia, fighting courageously and graciously every step of the way, and despite being robbed of so many memories, she was lucky enough to experience present moments and still know and recognize her daughter and grandchildren, eventually making peace with her deteriorating condition and joining her husband eternally in death.
