Karoll Dean Martin, beloved husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle and friend to many was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father Saturday, August 12th, 2017, surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his own home in Bixby at the age of 83.

Karoll was born December 25, 1933 in Tulsa, the eldest and only son of three children born to Roxie Nolan and Louie Martin. He was blessed with a third sister when his dad married Ada Oliver. Karoll graduated from Owasso High School in 1952 and shortly thereafter married his high school sweetheart, Auda Bennett. Karoll and Auda's 65-year union blessed them with five children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Karoll worked in the oil and iron working industries before starting Karoll Martin Paint and Body Shop in 1973 in Tulsa. Through honesty, hard work, perseverance and determination, Karoll developed a very successful business from which he retired in 1999. Karoll was a long-time member of Tulsa Executives Association developing many friendships with local business leaders.

Karoll loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing the Good News and his personal salvation with everyone he met. For many years, Karoll has been an active member of Heatherridge Baptist Church. He cherished his family; especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he spoke of often and lovingly to anyone that would listen. Throughout his life, Karoll enjoyed gardening, working outdoors and traveling; especially to Colorado. He will always be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor and unyielding faith.

He is survived by his wife Auda, of the home, daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Steve Moos of Broken Arrow, Caroll and John Tucker of Blue Springs, MO; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and LeAnne of Bixby, David and Monica of Tulsa, Doug and Jeanine of Bixby; grandchildren, Amy Reynolds, Stephanie McPhail Rogers, Brian Tucker, Shawn Martin, J.W. McPhail, Matthew Tucker, Shannon Carder, Danielle Martin, Tara Moos, Cole Moos, Allie Moos, Hunter Martin, and Sawyer Martin, 18 wonderful great-grandchildren , sisters and brothers-in-law, Tresa and Jake Harris, Carolyn and Jamie Gill and a numerous extended family and multitude of friends. Karoll was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barbara Heffner and grandson, Jeffrey Martin.
