Katherine Wilemon, 88, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019, at her residence in Tulsa, OK. She was born on Thursday, July 31, 1930, in Snyder, OK, to Daniel Blair and Nicie (Irwin) Blair. Katherine spent her professional career as a Benefits Analyst for Cities Service Oil Co., now CITGO. She was devoted to her family, and especially, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and sons. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed flying, riding the rails, lake vacations, and traveling across the United States. Katherine is survived by 2 sons, Ronald Wilemon of Garland, TX, and Stephen Wilemon of Tulsa, OK; 4 grandchildren, Tracie Wilemon Walker and husband, Michael of Boise, ID, Travis Wilemon of Tulsa, OK, Sarek Wilemon of Garland, TX, and Donavan Wilemon of Ridgeville, SC; and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, James L. Blair, and Daniel Blair. Katherine will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
