Obituary
Kathleen Cornell, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born May 10, 1924, in Baxter Springs, Kansas to Mont Lee and Bertha Jane (Pliler) Lee.
Kathleen married the late Rev. F. C. Cornell in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and they were married for 28 years. She felt blessed to be a preacher's wife and helpmeet.
Kathleen is predeceased by her spouse and brothers, Claude Lee and Bob Clark. Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Campbell (Steve) of Jenks; Cathy Cornell of Utah; step-daughter, Betty Wing of Tulsa; grandchildren, Michael Mellott (Stephen), Aaren Rose Padilla (Greg), and Cornell Campbell; step-grandchildren, Jacque Simple (Robert), Larry Sharp; great grandchildren, Lilly Mellott and Madeline Mellott; step-great grandchild, Kyle Swarthout; sister, Maxine Szita; brother, Jack Lee and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6-8PM, Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Moore Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa and the Funeral Service will be 1pm, Friday, September 16, 2016, at Carbondale Assembly of God, 2135 West 51st Street, Tulsa. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Kathleen's memory to Clarehouse, 7617 S. Mingo Rd., Tulsa, OK 74133.
