Kathleen Fahnestock Green was born in Warsaw, Missouri on November 20, 1924 to Ira and Edna Fahnestock. One of eight children, she dearly loved her brothers and sisters. Kathleen married the love of her life Omer Green on August 2, 1942 and they made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Kathleen was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother (or "Munna" - as her great grandchildren called her), and "Mom" to many of the young people who knew her. She taught Sunday school for many years at Evangelistic Temple and was homeroom mom for her daughter's classes through the years. She became lovingly known as "homeroom mom" or "the mom" which she very much enjoyed.

She worked for the Oral Roberts Ministries and then became the head telephone operator when the university opened in 1965. Her career with ORU lasted 40 years and she retired with lots of fond memories of her time there.

Kathleen loved sports. She enjoyed going to the ORU basketball games, watching OU football and was a big Dallas Cowboys fan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Omer Green, her parents, Ira and Edna Fahnestock, and her siblings Ruth, Evelyn, JD, Paul, Bob, & George, all of whom were waiting for her as she crossed into heaven.

Kathleen will be missed by her daughter Carolyn Sue, grandson David Ryan, granddaughter Dawn Renee and her husband John Gilstrap, great grandchildren Sarah and Noah, and her sister Bettye Ann Hamblin, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Family will receive friends from 4pm-6pm. Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel followed by burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
