Kathryn Sue Lins passed from this life last Friday, April 8th, 2016, at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 14 days.

Kathryn Sue was born on Christmas Day in 1935 at Danville, Arkansas to Julian Courtney Lusby and Edith Molene Walker Lusby. She attended Webster High School in Tulsa, and was a graduate of the Roberts Beauty School, later becoming a model, and a well-known hair stylist. She turned down opportunities to sing professionally in order to raise her children and to operate her own business. Kathryn was in demand as a vocalist with the Sliver Creek bluegrass group. She was a baptized believer who taught Sunday school, and a long-time member of the Church of Christ.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, and by her son Michael T. Miller and her husband Charles Lins. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Jo Monyhan and husband, Roger Monyhan, and by her daughter Tamara Miller Helm and husband Jim Helm, and by her stepdaughter Debbie Sweeny and husband Tim Sweeny, and is survivied by her grand-daughter Jacque Miller, grandsons John J. DeVercelly Ill, and Donald DeVercelly and his wife Jessica DeVercelly, and by her nephew Danny Nieto and his daughter Dana and son Daryl, and she is survived by seven great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Raina Harjo and Jessica DeVercelly for their assistance in caring for Kathryn Sue, and to recognize the St Johns Hospice staff for their services.
