Kay Doss died peacefully on September 24, 2016 in Frisco, TX, at the age of 70. She is survived by her son Robert Doss of Wetumka, OK; daughter Melissa Wilson and son-in-law Frank J. Wilson of Prosper, TX; grandchildren Emily and Nicholas Wilson; sisters Carole Frazier of Wichita, KS, and Rojean Mullet of Mountain Home, AR; and brother, Michael Vulgamore of Keller, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Roger Doss; her parents Ralph C. Vulgamore and Ada Ruth McMillian; and a brother, Jimmie Vulgamore.

Born the youngest of 5 in Clearwater, KS, November 26, 1945, Kay graduated from Clearwater High School and married Roger Doss, also of Clearwater. The couple settled in Tulsa where she eventually went to work for Merry Maids, working there for 30 years before eventually retiring. She loved caring for people, whether it was taking care of their houses or taking care of her developmentally disabled son for as long as her health allowed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral is scheduled at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 30, at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, followed by an interment in Clearwater, KS. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
