Obituary

Kaycee Lynn Johnson, daughter of Tom and Cyndee Johnson and sister to Taylor Wright, was born October 28, 1986 in Tulsa, OK. She passed from this life into the hands of God on June 8, 2025.

Kaycee had several brushes with death in since 2020, but always came back. This time, God decided to keep her. She was our warrior and fought hard for five years. No one ever fought harder to live. Kaycee is now healed and, for her, there is no more pain and suffering.

Kaycee had a mind that absorbed everything she ever heard! She loved reading, learning, trivia, and cooking-not simple cooking...always gourmet! She also loved to be right, which she usually was, and her favorite line was "I told you so!"

Kaycee also had style! She loved her sunglasses, make up, and looking pretty. She loved to say, "You ain't got to get ready if you stay ready." She never left home without looking beautiful, and she didn't believe in leisure wear.

Kaycee loved all people and always demonstrated a genuine compassion for people who were vulnerable or rejected by others. This was also demonstrated in her passing as she chose to be an organ donor to help others once again.

Kaycee was the best daughter and sister anyone could ever have. She will always be loved by many and will be missed terribly.

Kaycee was preceded in death by her father, Tom. She is survived by her mom, Cyndee and sister, Taylor, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Joins us to honor and celebrate her life at 10am, Thursday, June 12, at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs, OK.
