Keith Allen Hulsizer, 68, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on January 31, 2024, leaving behind a void that cannot be filled.
Keith's passion for his family, great music, time at the lake, fishing, and sports were matched only by his impeccable hair, dry sense of humor, great storytelling, and ensuring game nights were never without popcorn. May he rest in eternal peace with Jesus, surrounded by the echoes of his favorite tunes.
Keith was born on August 5, 1955 to Mary Elizabeth and Gearld Wesley Hulsizer in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Following graduation from Nathan Hale High School in 1973, he attended Oklahoma State University where he was an avid foosball hustler, and Cowboy fan.
In 1969 at only 14, Keith met the love of his life, Dale Ann. They built a wonderful life together and had three children, Rick, Jennifer, and Kyle. Dale Ann and Keith shared a love of beach vacations, weekends on the lake, soccer, game nights with friends, and spending time with their family.
Keith had a varied career in his early years before serving as the Chief Deputy Assessor for Tulsa County, where he was both successful and well-loved. Keith retired in 2018 and enjoyed spending his time with Dale Ann, his grandchildren, and Fox News.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother, Kenneth Hulsizer, and son-in-law Matthew Stephens Sr.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, children, Richard Baker, Jennifer Stephens, and Kyle Hulsizer (Brittany), and grandchildren, Gabrielle Laub, Maxwell Bowling, Payne Baker, and Dylan and Eliza Hulsizer, along with many friends and extended family who will carry on his legacy of laughter and love.
Services will be held on February 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Moore's Southlawn located at 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK 74145. Interment directly following at Green Acres Memorial Gardens located at 12410 N. Yale Ave., Skiatook, OK 74070.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Keith's honor to Clarehouse, an organization that provided Keith, and the entire family, with peace and comfort in his final days. Let the legacy of a life well-lived continue to bring comfort and solace to others in their time of need.
