Obituary

Keith was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on January 30, 1995 to William Whitenack and Melissa (Davis) Whitenack. Keith moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma when he was two and spent his remaining years growing up there.

Keith was the second child of three children. Keith graduated from high school and studied Aviation Mechanics at Tulsa Vo-Tech, Aviation Science at TCC and Non-Destructive Testing at Spartan School of Aeronautics. While furthering his education in aviation, Keith worked at Academy in the Fishing and Hunting department. He later worked as an overnight security guard for Goldstar Security, and then St. Francis Hospital.

Early on in life Keith had a passion for trains, planes and war machines, especially jets and fighter planes. He loved going to airshows with his Dad, Grandfather and Uncle and especially seeing the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds when they were in town. Keith and his grandfather, who was a pilot, shared a special bond with their love of airplanes and flight. Keith often reminisced over his grandfather's stories of flight adventure and was especially fond of his flights in the Waco biplane at the beach with his grandfather and his ride in the Ford Trimotor with his Dad. He dreamed of someday joining the Airforce and becoming a pilot.

Keith loved camping and the great outdoors. He began his scouting career as a Tiger scout in first grade and became an Eagle Scout and Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association in 2011. Keith was an adventuresome scout and his scouting years were some of the happiest times of his life. During his scouting career Keith received numerous certificates and awards including:
Troop 10 Service Hours Award, Civilian Marksmanship Program Medal, Out- standing Achievement Award Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman, John Sullivan Good Citizenship Award from Marine Corps League Governor's Commendation from Mary Fallin,Governor of Oklahoma Ranger Award- Venturing BSA.

Keith had a natural gift for music and was a self-taught guitarist. He loved all genres of music but was especially fond of classic rock. He especially loved playing his vintage guitars and would rock out on his 60's Hagstrom 12 string and mellow out on his Guild 12 string acoustic. Keith was a smart, kind, funny and loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend and will be forever missed by everyone.

Left to honor Keith is his loving family; mother, Melissa Davis-Whitenack, father, William (Bill) Whitenack, sister, Kadi Whitenack, brother, Kylar Whitenack, grandmother, Shelby (Shelley) Davis and many aunts, uncles and cousins not forgotten. Keith was preceded in death by his uncle, Stephen L. Davis, his maternal grandfather, Palmer M.Davis Jr., his paternal grandfather, Delbert L. Whitenack, his paternal grandmother, Gwen (Blakesley) Whitenack and his cousin Brooks Ray Davis Walden.
