Kelly Dawn Swatzell, 49, gained her wings on November 11, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Kelly described herself as always having a heart so big and endless love to give. A follower of God her entire life, she was born on March 13, 1971, to Paul and Kathleen Turner in Tulsa, OK.
Kelly attended and graduated from Bixby High School, class of '89 in Bixby, Oklahoma. Later in 1993, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Tulsa University. Kelly worked as an accountant at McCabe Minerals for several years before pursuing her healthcare career at Montereau.
Unfortunately, due to some life-altering situations and health issues, Kelly became disabled and was unable to continue working. Nothing stopped her from pursuing happiness. Kelly took every obstacle in life and made the best of it. She fought hard and loved deeply. Kelly began using her time of hurt to surround herself with what she loved most; babies, puppies, crafting, shopping, lake time, and going to Branson, Missouri, or traveling non the other. Most of all, she loved being around her family and friends.
Kelly is survived by her husband Shannon, daughters Kimberly and Kelsey, son Kody, parents Paul and Kathy Turner of Bixby, Oklahoma, Shannon's parents Ralph and Mary Swatzell of Branson, Missouri, brother Tim Turner and his wife Katherine of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, uncle Herb Turner, grandson Kenyon Duclos, numerous cousins, and friends, along with many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Damon and Letha Hall, grandmother Maybelle Turner, uncles Chester Turner and Fred Turner, and great-grandmother Helen (Hall) Denton.
