Kendall "Ken" Martin, 87, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019, in Tulsa. Ken was born February 29, 1932 in Indio, California and was a graduate of Coachella Valley High School. He spent his high school days winning medals in track and riding horseback on the family's Martin Ranch before going on to serve in both the Air Force and Navy throughout the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, he proceeded to marry the love of his life, Betty Martin, and worked at Boeing as a pattern maker up until his retirement. He enjoyed a long retirement, spending it well with those he held dear, who will always remember him as a great man who would do anything for his family.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Loyal Johnston Jr. and Madge Martin, as well as his brother, Marvin Martin. He is survived by his wife Betty; children, Kenneth Martin and Kathleen Williams; grandchildren, Sarah Blesch, Jared Williams, Steven Williams, Nicholas Martin, Alyssa Williams, Lyndsey Corral, and Christopher Martin; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing is Monday, April 15, 2019 from noon to 8pm at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel. Funeral services are 2pm, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK.
